Darn Wind

Today the winds started up and so have my allergies. We had planned on going to a Cowboy Music Review tonight but my head is so stuffed up I don't think I would enjoy it. We still have 2 nights left to see it. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.

Today we planned on staying at the rig most of the day since my medication was suppose to be delivered. I tracked it on the FedEx website. Just after I looked and the website said it was at a sorting facility someone knocked on our door. It was the FedEx pilot delivering the box! Now that is service. He flew into the local airport and drove over to the campground. It is funny though, the website still says that the package is in the sorting center and I have had it since before noon! We are still expecting mail from Nick and I think that should be here tomorrow.

Actually my allergies didn't act up until we went out in the afternoon. We took the car to be washed. It was one of the type that you sit in the car and ride through. Oh well, it got clean. After that we drove out to a trail along the Shoshone River. We planned on walking the 1.3 mile trail but the wind was so strong it kept blowing my hat off and that is when I allergies started. We only went about a quarter of the trail and decided to return to the car.

On the way back to the rig we decided that we needed to stop at the local ice cream parlor and have a treat. I finally got my huckleberry ice cream. It was really good. We went back to the rig after that. Naps were the general activity in the afternoon.

It is now 7:30 PM and it wind is still blowing really hard. It shakes the rig. It was a really warm wind earlier (the temps got up to 82 degrees) but now it is a cold wind. Bill was just outside for awhile and he came back in with freezing hands. I hope this ends tonight.

We had a really good dinner of grilled steak today. I am getting the hang of cooking in the rig and using the convection oven. We have been surprised that we are not running out of room to put stuff or to do stuff. This fulltiming thing might just work out.
