Shopping

Saturday, July 24

Today we got up and got ready to do some shopping. Our first stop was actually across town. The camp host told me yesterday that there was a Farmer's Market held in the park downtown on Saturdays. Yeah! I love Farmer's Markets. I was looking forward to picking up some fresh fruit and veggies. We had to circle the block a couple of times to find a parking spot. There were a lot of craft booths and some baked goods. There weren't as many fruit and veggie stands as I had hoped. I did get some broccoli, cherries and a loaf of fresh baked bread. It was fun to watch some little kids get pony rides.

After we finished at the market we went back to the base so that I could do some major grocery shopping. I had pretty much run out of meat and fresh veggies. Luckily the store wasn't crowded and I was able to find most of the things I needed.

There are also some pictures of the campground we are staying in.

The weather is starting to warm up again. The temps are in the high 80's and creeping up. But we are suppose to have rain on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Enjoy the pictures.
