Chattanooga

August if finally in the books and we are back on Eastern Time. We pulled out of Nashville this morning, still kinda groggy from a late night last night. We had about 147 miles to go to get to Chattanooga, TN. The campground is actually one half mile across the border in Georgia but close enough. Traffic was light most of the way. When we started the day we were in Central time but as we drove south and east we returned to Eastern Time. I think we will stay on Eastern Time for the next couple of months.

We are staying at the Best Holiday Trav-L-Park. I will take some pictures tomorrow morning when we go out being tourists. We will be heading to Lookout Mountain. This campground is actually built on a Civil War battleground. But then, isn't most everything down here a Civil War battleground?

We got settled in and then took a walk around. After checking out the laundry room we decided to go ahead and do the wash. It was either here or over the Labor Day weekend. Anyway, that chore is done for the next week or so. We did wait until after we had dinner and it cooled off some. At least it isn't as humid as it has been.
