No wind today. Thankfully, the wind stopped last night and didn't start up again. It was warm today though. We traveled 225 miles today from Colby, KS to just west of Junction City, KS. There isn't much scenery in Kansas, it is pretty flat and green right now.
We are planning on heading into Abilene tomorrow to visit the Presidential Library of Dwight D Eisenhower. There is his boyhood home, a museum, and the Presidential Library. We will probably be there most of the day.
We are parked at the Curtis Creek Campground along Milford Lake outside of Junction City. It is a Corp of Engineers park so we have 30 amp power and water. No sewer at the sites but there is a dump station. Here are a couple of pics -
It is about 10 miles outside of town. It looks like we are the only people in the park tonight except for the camp hosts. I bet it was busy over the weekend though. Boats are allowed on the lake and there is also fishing.
OK, that is all for today. Have a good night.
