Visiting Vegas

Tuesday & Wednesday, May 17 & 18

We didn't do much on Tuesday except do some grocery shopping and visited the BX. We did buy a rug for under the recliner and the computer table. We had been looking for a round one to go under the recliner but couldn't find anything so we decided on a longer one to go under both. It was really windy on Tuesday and into Wednesday. Tuesday night the rig was rocking in the wind.

On Wednesday we decided to visit the "World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop" that is featured on Pawn Stars. We did locate the building but it was not in a great neighborhood. There was a line outside. It looked like they were only letting so many people in at a time. One out, one in. It started raining while we were there so we decided not to stand in the line and go in the shop.



After that we visited a Shepler's store but didn't buy anything. We also stopped at a couple of other stores in the center, looking for something for me to wear at Bill's reunion. I didn't find anything I liked. Good thing I have 3 months or so to find something.

Our last stop was to visit our friends Lee & Lyn Hand. It has been awhile since we have seen them and it was a good visit. We spent a few hours there and Lyn made a nice lunch. We will see them again in Branson.

The rain has passed through and the wind has calmed down. We pull out tomorrow and head towards Utah and Moab. We won't make it in one day so we will be stopping for an overnight stop tomorrow.
