Travel day

Wed. June, 22

We were up early and pulled out of the campground to head across the state to Illinois.  We are headed to Scott AFB which is just east of St Louis.  We are spending the next 3 nights there and going into town to visit the Arch and a couple of other things.  It was a longer day of driving - around 260 miles. 

When we got in and got set up we relaxed for a bit and then I made a quick dinner.  After dinner we washed the sheets and towels.  This frees us up for the next couple of days.  One of the dryers is stuck on so we only had to pay for one dryer. 

Just across from us in the campground is a couple from Calif.  Bill asked where they were from and would you believe Placentia!  That is the next town over from where we lived!  It is a small world, isn't it?

It is cooler here so we may not have to run the air conditioner all day.
