Made it to OC

Sat, Oct 27 - Thursday, Nov 1, 2012

We picked up the rig on Friday and spent that night and part of Sunday cleaning it out and moving everything out of the house into the rig.  We bombed it and it seems to have gotten rid of our ant problem. 

Saturday afternoon we drove into OC to see the kids and go to the Rustlers dance to see our friends.  Aimee was having cravings for the food at Northwoods Inn so we went there for linner.  It has been a few years since we have been there and the food was really good.  A bit on the pricey side but good.  We met Terry & Lydia for dinner before the dance but since we had eaten a big lunch we just had dessert.  It was fun to see a bunch of our friends at the dance before we headed back to Hemet. 

On Monday we headed into OC to Canyon RV in Anaheim Hills for a week.  We will be babysitting Aimee while Nick is out of town.  She and I are going to go shopping one day.  We have a bunch of coupons to use at Babies R Us.  Bill is going to work on the sprinkler system at the house while we are gone.  We will be going back and forth during the week to check on her.  We did stop at the commissary at March Air Reserve Base to stock up on food on the way in. 

I had a doctor appointment on Wednesday.  She looked at the records I brought from Texas and has adjusted some of my medication.  She also put me on a diet.  I am suppose to avoid salt and carbohydrates.  Guess it is time to suck it up and stick to the diet.  But it was funny that she suggested we go to a specific restaurant for breakfast and pancakes!  Way to avoid carbs!  I go back in a couple of weeks for a checkup.

We didn't get any kids for Halloween here at the campground.  Guess that means Bill will have to eat the candy we have left. 

We will move to Seal Beach on Monday.
