Bryan/College Station, TX
Last night we all agreed to go out for breakfast today. So we all got up and got organized by 9:00. We picked at place called the Kettle. It appears to be a local chain and the food was good. After a hearty breakfast we headed over to Texas A & M University and the George H W Bush Presidential Library (that's #41 to everyone). The skies were dark and overcast and it was a bit cool but we didn't get rained on. Bill and I were here back in 2012 but there were some changes and some things we missed the first time. Here are a few pics -
We spent about 2 1/2 hours touring the museum. Everyone was impressed. The Bush's will be buried on the grounds of the Library when they pass.
We are getting Rick & Janie indoctrinated on visiting Presidential Libraries. They can't wait to visit more.
I am fixing dinner for tonight. I put the short ribs in the crockpot this morning. I made lemon bars for dessert and plan on make sweet potatoes and some veggie. I will have to check out what veggies I have in the freezer.
