Stagecoach Ranch RV, Deming, NM

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  We had another 200 mile trip today.  The drive wasn't bad.  We did plan on stopping at a certain rest stop in AZ but it was closed when we got there so we drove another 25 miles or so to one in NM.  This was an information center so I picked up some brochures for the places we are going to visit in this state.

There isn't anything going on in Deming, NM so we didn't unhook our cars.   We are staying at Stagecoach Ranch RV in Deming, NM.  This isn't a fancy place but it is great for an overnight stay.  Wide open sites and they don't tell you how much to pay.  They ask for a donation between $15-20.  We all donated $20.  We want to see this place make a go of it.  It is our type of park for an overnight stay.  The bathrooms are clean, the laundry room and lounge were clean and inviting.  We would absolutely stay again.

It was my turn to cook and since it is Cinco de Mayo I am making tacos.  I asked Terry to cook the tacos.  I did everything else.  The meal was good.  I also served watermelon, cantaloupe and pineapple with it.  For dessert we had creme brulee.  Yummy.

I am feeling better day by day.  I think the pills are causing my upset tummy so I have to be careful to take them after I eat something.  Pills usually don't bother me like this but this one certainly is.  I will finish the dose on Friday night.  The UTI is not bothering me anymore, just the nausea from the pills.
It has been cool most of the day because of overcast skies.  After dinner we all hung out outside a bit so the dogs could run around.  We needed light jackets due to the wind and cold.

That said, the day was a good one.  There are a couple of pictures of the place so enjoy.
