Parkview RV Park
Fort Stockton, TX

Not much going on today except a drive into Texas.  When we crossed the border we lost another hour.  We are now on Central time.  The drive was uneventful except for one intersection coming out of Carlsbad.  We were suppose to take a left at the end of town to follow US285 south.  We sat there with a number of other vehicles and the lights never changed.  They changed 3 times for the other directions when the driver up front decided it wasn't working and just went through the red when it was safe.  Everyone behind him did the same thing.  None of us got a ticket for it.  We would still be sitting there if we had waited!

We are stopped for the night at Parkview RV in Fort Stockton, TX.  It is an OK place for overnight.  The sites are long enough so that we didn't have to unhook the car.  I forgot to take a picture so will take one just before we leave and post it tonight.  Well, it turns out I forgot to go out and take the picture.  Nobody else did either so we don't have a picture of this park.  It is a fine overnight park.  We have stayed here before and we would stay again.

It was my turn to cook dinner so I made baked pork chops, corn on the cob, and ranch potatoes.  It was a good meal.  We served Lydia's Creme Brulee for dessert.

We have been fighting moths that we picked up in Carlsbad, NM at the campground.  You should have seen them fly out from under the rig when we moved it yesterday morning.  Such a pain but they should be gone in a day or two.

That is all for now.  Have a good day.
