Woodsmoke Camping Resort
Fort Myers, FL

This morning we left Mouse Land.  After only one wrong turn we made it to the freeway and headed west.

Yesterday we noticed the slide topper on the bedroom slide had come disconnected.  We are looking for a place in Homestead to repair it.  Bill called one place and they recommended another place.  We called and left a message there.  We will probably have the main front slide cover changed too.

The 170 mile drive was uneventful and we made it to the campground with no problem.  We are at Woodsmoke Camping Resort.  It is a Passport America park so the price is $26 a night.  It is right in town and on the main drag.  There are a ton of RV parks around here as this is snowbird country.  They are not busy this time of year but come the first of the year they will be packed.  The sites are close but not too bad.

After getting parked and setup we noticed that we couldn't get the TV satellite to work correctly.  There is one satellite it doesn't get because of the trees.  We might try to put the outside dish up later.  We did go to the grocery store, a Publix.  Back at the rig we had clouds, thunder and lightening.  It never really rained, just blustered a bit.

Tomorrow we will be doing some cleanup of the rig.  I need to defrost the freezer and clean out the fridge.  Bill has some cleaning to do outside.  I don't know if we will do anything special while here.  We leave on Monday to head to Homestead, then on to Key West.

I hope you have a good weekend.
