Hominy Valley RV Park lower
Candler, NC
Today was moving day. We weren't sure why but our GPS gave us a completely different route using the RV than it did using a car. We decided to take the RV route. It was an easy drive but it did take us out of our way. I assume the route was selected as it would be easier for a big vehicle. Oh well, we got where we were going.
We are staying at Hominy Valley RV in Candler. We are in the "lower" area. The official campground has 5 sites and it up by the road. Those were full so we are in the private sites down by the owners home. There are about 6 sites down here. They have full hookups and 50 amps so that is fine. The road to get down here is a bit small but we made it. My GPS came right here so that was nice.
We didn't do much once we got setup. We did go to the grocery store and stopped and bought a rebel flag for my dad. I also saw a veggie stand I plan on stopping at before we leave here.
It is very quiet down here so sleeping was good. It is also dark which I like.
