Monday, April 27

Today is looking to be a good day. We did our morning walk wearing just light jackets. After the walk Bill decided to work on replacing a vent cover on the side of the house. The one that was there had a broken piece that was allowing the cage part of fall off. We found one on Amazon and ordered it. Of course we didn’t have all the things we needed to put it up so off to Ace hardware we went. I know it is a bit more expensive than Home Depot or Lowe’s but it is closer and there are fewer people in it. We finally got the thing installed.  Our new neighbors are having a reee in their front yard removed. They talked to the tree people when they were at our house. Last winter big limbs on one side fell off in an ice storm and the tree was lopsided. We will wait and see what they put in there instead.

For dinner I made polish sausage and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and carrots.

This afternoon the governor gave his timetable for reopening the state. First things they are opening are medical like dentists, eye doctors and veterinarian offices.  Next week business offices can open.  Stores can reopen in the middle of the month with restaurants, gyms, and beauty shops still closed for awhile. I like th endeavor of a slow opening. I would love to get my hair cut but I can wait. I am going to try and cut Bill’s hair myself. Hope I don’t butcher it too bad.

Night night
