Moving on

Friday, July 23

We woke up to rain this morning. Luckily, by the time we had to move outdoors to work it dropped down to a drizzle. We decided not to dump but to head on to our next campground.

The drive was nice and we passed many farms and ranches. We did pass a small herd of bison but there was no place to stop and take a picture. Since we had been seeing a lot of cattle that is what we thought the bison were at first. Today was the first day we had been back on the Interstate in a long time.

We went one exit further than we needed to so that we could stop at the Flying J and get fuel. The base is about 6 miles away from the Interstate and the main road was under construction so that made the drive a little dicey. This campground is a first come/first serve spot so we wanted to get here early. There were about 6 open spots when we pulled in so we are happy. We are staying here until Wednesday morning. This military campground is actually outside the gate here at Malmstrom, MT. We took a drive around the base after we got setup. We were going to do the laundry but they were busy. When we finished checking out the base the washers were open so we got started on that. After I had two loads in the washer and two in the dryer I went back to the rig to fix dinner. Bill went and switched them over while I was cooking. We were able to finish all our laundry tonight. A boring chore out of the way.

No pictures today. I hope you had a good day.
