Fargo, ND

Thursday, Aug 5

Today was all about travel. We drove 169 miles to Fargo, ND. We also crossed over a time line and we are now on Central Time, or 2 hours ahead of Calif. We are staying at the Lindenwood Park. It is a city or county park right in the city. It is shady and nicely maintained. The only drawback is that the freeway (I94) is close behind our site. At least it isn't a train! We drove straight through with no stops.

After we got in our site and basically setup we located a restaurant nearby to have "linner". It was a local coffee shop. We both had the daily special of Salisbury steak and it was good. Of course, we were really hungry as it was after 2:00 PM and we hadn't eaten since breakfast. After eating we drove down the street to a Laundromat to do our wash. It had been a few days since we last did it. That took about a hour and a half. After that we drove to the local Super Walmart to pick up a few groceries. The last town we were in didn't have a grocery store so we were out of the basics.

We are now back in our rig and relaxing. We will only be here overnight. Tomorrow we head down towards Minneapolis/St Paul for the weekend. Bill took some pictures for me when he went for his walk. Here they are.
