Weekend

Friday - Monday, Oct 1 - 4

Yeah! The rain finally stopped!  I wasn't sure it ever would.  There was some flooding in some surrounding towns by the rivers and streams.  I feel sorry for them. 

We drove out to the beach house on Saturday and spent the day.  I took fixings for dinner so that Stormy wouldn't have to worry about it.  She has enough to do with the wedding.  It was overcast and a bit cool because of the wind.  We had a good time visiting with everyone.  We brought home the items to get the cutlery and napkins tied together.  About half is already done and we will finish the rest.  Stormy is trying to get all the last minute wedding things done. We will be picking up a couple of items during the week to help her.


Nick and Aimee are flying in Friday morning so we will drive to Raleigh on Thursday and spend the night to pick them up. It is about a 2 hour drive and this will keep us from having to get up really early on Friday to drive in. Can’t wait to see the kids.

Sunday evening we went to the house and everyone was there. Terri and Donnie moved to a new place on Saturday we this was the first we had seen them in awhile. We are trying to work out golfing for Tyler and Nick but I am beginning to think this isn’t going to work out. Various problems keep getting in the way. Maybe next time.

The weather looks like it is going to cooperate for the wedding. It has been cloudy but is starting to clear up. If the weather guy is getting it right then it should be in the 70’s on Saturday.
