Busy, busy, busy

Friday - Monday, Nov 26 - 27

Our friend, Bob, passed away on Wednesday.  He had been sick for awhile so it was not unexpected but sad anyway.  We are waiting to hear about services for him.  Bob's wife, May passed earlier this year so it is nice that they are together again.  They will both be missed.

Saturday was our first club dance since our return.  It was really great to see everyone again.  The dance was on the small size but we had a great time.  Of course, we didn't dance.  It will be interesting to see if we remember how!

I saw my arthritis doctor on Monday.  She agrees that I need to have my knee replaced so that is something I will have to look into soon.  I don't know the doctors out here but my parents have friends who recently had their knees done and are going to check into their doctors.

We spent most of Monday at the house in Yorba Linda.  We had estimates on replacing the heating and air conditioning.  We were surprised by the quotes as they weren't as bad as we thought they would be.  We made arrangements with a company to have it done next week.  Nick will be home when it is done.  We also purchased a new stove for the house.  The one there has been giving them problems for awhile now.  The new stove is on backorder but I think Aimee will really enjoy it.

We woke up to only partial power this morning at my parent's house.  The heaters were not working and it was cold in here.  Some of the electric outlets work and some don't.  I don't know what happened but it seems they have gotten it fixed now.

That is all.  I have to get the rig packed for our campout this weekend.  Have a good time.
