I got up and made breakfast today. I mainly did it to use up some of the stuff in the freezer. When we take the rig in to have maintenance on it, I will have to empty the frig so I am trying to use the stuff.
After breakfast Bill went for a walk and then called me. Seems he ran into some RV mobile washing guys and arranged for them to wash the rig. It really needed it. He just wanted me to know so that if they show up before him I won't send them away. They asked me to move my car so it wouldn't get wet. The car is so dirty it wouldn't have mattered!
Our entertainment today was a trip into Sedona. This area is actually very beautiful, in its own way. We have been here before so we didn't need to take a jeep tour but we did walk around downtown. They have some amazing artists here and the jewelry, paintings and sculptures are fabulous. I am looking for a Christmas present for my niece's son. It is really hard to find things for a 1 year old boy. We had lunch downtown and we had Mexican food. It is the first we have had in 6 months! Sedona is a great place to eat.
When we finished exploring Sedona we drove up the mountain to Jerome. It is an old mining town and is now a tourist destination. We really enjoyed the store with the kaleidoscopes. After our big lunch we decided to have desert here. Yummy ice cream cones.
We drove back to the campground, but first took a drive through Camp Verde to see what we remembered from there. I found two of the restaurants we ate at last time. Either they didn't open until 5:00 or they were closed.
That was our day. Enjoy the pictures.
