No snow

The nightly news has been going on and on about the possibility of snow down to 500 feet.  Well, we are at 1500 feet so I went to sleep hoping for a light dusting this morning.  Nope, no snow just rain.  It is cold though so it might have been possible.  I think there was just too much rain.  When the clouds lift the local mountains should be pretty. 

I saw my orthopedic surgeon yesterday and he said everything is progressing nicely, I just have to give it time.  I am an impatient person and want it healed NOW!  I am still doing my exercises and going to therapy though. 

We had lunch with Nick and Aimee while we were in town.  We haven't seen Aimee for a bit and it was nice to spend time with her.  They tell me everything is going fine.  Lola is just as spirited as she always has been.  She doesn't like my cane so I can use that to keep her from jumping on me.
