Trace Adkins

Tonight we drove into Indio to see one of my favorite country singers, Trace Adkins.  He has a deep voice and I really like that.  It is a 60 mile trip to the Fantasy Springs casino.  We stopped at Gramma's Restaurant in Banning for dinner before heading over.  We were still a little early so we both put $5.00 into a slot machine in the casino.  It wasn't long before we lost those so we decided to sit at the casino and people watch.  I decided that I was looking pretty good after watching some of the people who came in.  Why do ladies pour themselves into pants that are three sizes too small and then wear a crop top?  They looked horrible and they thought they looked sexy!  I was also surprised by the large number of older people as Trace is a country/rock singer. 

On the way I got a call from Terry telling me that Lydia got a letter saying the review approved her for her disability.  I am really happy for her, it has been a long fight. 

Anyway, the concert was great.  Trace sang many of his hits and some of his new songs from his current album.  Last night he performed in Reno, NV and then drove down to Indio.  They almost didn't make it as the pass was closed due to snow.  There was a storm coming through today but it didn't hit Hemet until we were almost home.  It is suppose to rain off and on all week.
