Blowing in the wind

Wow, I don't know where it came from but the wind has really been blowing today.  The news says there have been gusts up to 50 mph!  Bill had to fight the rig most of the day but we made it to Colby, KS and got setup for the night.  At times the wind blew so hard it was almost impossible to open the rig door.  The news reports say it will die down later tonight.  I hope so, we haven't even put the slide out because the wind is so bad.

We also crossed into Central time when we crossed into Kansas.  We are now 2 hours ahead of California and 1 hour behind North Carolina. 

We didn't do much else as it was a travel day.  Tomorrow we head towards Abilene and Eisenhower's Presidential Library. 

I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day and spent some time thinking about those who gave all to defend this country.
