So much happening

Well big changes are underway for us.  We plan on leaving on Monday, May 15 to start our summer trek.  The first destination is Branson, MO.  We are meeting friends there for 10 days of fun and fishing.  We plan on traveling through Nevada (stopping in Las Vegas), Utah (visiting Arches and Canyonland National Parks), Colorado (heading to Colorado Springs), Kansas (Eisenhower's Presidential Library), Independence/Kansas City (Truman's library, Harley Davidson, Hallmark), Hale, MO (to visit relatives) and then down to Branson.

We also have plans in October to attend Bill's 50th high school reunion and visit family.  Then we will head south with a short stop in Norfolk, VA and then into New Bern, NC to see family and Bill's great-grandchild who is due in early October.

Between the two planned trips we are not sure of what we are doing.  You see, we just put our house in Yorba Linda on the market.  Nick and Aimee are planning on moving to North Carolina to be near the girls and their families.  We may have to return to California after Branson, we may head to North Carolina then, or we may just wander somewhere.  It is hard not having exact plans, you know me - plan, plan, plan.  Anyway, we hope the house sells early and for a good price.  Turns out a neighbor just put his on the market for under market.  But we hope all the improvements we have done will raise our price.  We don't think he has done anything to his house so our upgrades should help.  We have installed dual pane windows, new heating and air conditioning, remodeled the kitchen, upgraded the interior doors, new privacy fence in the backyard, new stove, new carpet last year, and the kids keep it looking nice.  Nick has been working on the backyard to get it looking nice and he is doing a good job.  Keep your fingers crossed.

So that is it for now.  I will keep things updated.
