We woke up and we are all alone in our little row here at the campground. In fact, much of the campground emptied out yesterday.
Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday greetings today.
Bill and I decided to explore Branson Landing today. It is one of the shopping centers in town. This one is anchored by Bass Pro Shops and Belk's. There are a lot of small shops in-between. The one drawback is that it is not enclosed and therefore not air conditioned. And today was one of the hottest days yet. They did have a nice frozen lemonade stand that we took advantage of.
After we left the Landing we made a quick stop at the local grocery store. I only planned on picking up a couple of things as we are headed to Scott AFB after we leave here and I will shop at the commissary.
Back at the campground we enjoyed the pool for a bit to cool off. We have made use of the pool a number of times over the last two weeks.
I made a light dinner of pork chops and mac & cheese. We went to see the Twelve Irish Tenors tonight. They were good. The songs were a collection of Irish melodies, opera, rock, and pop. We both enjoyed this show.
No pictures as they didn't allow them in the theatre.
