Travel day. We are moving from East St Louis, IL to Lynnville, IN and all of our travel will be along I64. We are staying the night at Lynnville Park in Lynnville, IN. It is a city or county park on a nice little lake. We have full hookups with 50amps for $18 a night. The sites are a bit close but not too bad. It appears that most of the people here seem to be here for the fishing. There are a number of boats on the lake.
The drive here was uneventful. We did hit a bit of rain but not much. One thing we found out about Indiana. The price they advertise for diesel is the price you pay if you are an over the road trucker. Regular people pay more. They don't charge sales tax the the truckers on the fuel. They pay it as part of their taxes each year. We won't be filling up in Indiana again.
We found the campground without any problems and quickly got setup. Then we had lunch and took a nap. I warmed up the pork ribs from last night and made pulled pork sandwiches. We decided not to have dinner tonight as we are not really hungry.
We did take a little walk around the park and talked to another couple who are part-timers and from Northern CA. Another travel day tomorrow and we should be in Kentucky then. Enjoy the pictures. Oh, one thing - check out the picture of the light pole. Guess where it is, yep, right outside my bedroom window. Looks like the blackout curtain will be moved to my side tonight.
