Pictures of Nelson

Tuesday - Friday, July 5-8

We are planning on visiting Nelson in the hospital this weekend but I do have a couple of pictures of him.  The first one was taken the day he was born and the second one was taken this week. He has gained a little weight, at this age we count ounces, and is doing very well. 

The weather here has been interesting.  It has been consistantly in the 90's during the day and the high 70's at night.  And it has been muggy.  The last couple of days we have been getting rain but it depends on where in town you are as to how much you get.  Today, Friday, it has been raining pretty good most of the day.  They really need the rain.  There are three fires burning in the area and when the wind shifts it can get bad.  The rain will help put them out and that will help the air quality. 

Bill and I took a drive down to Atlantic Beach on Thursday.  It was hot but you would not know it from the beach.  In Calif. the place would have been packed. 

After that we went to lunch (dinner) in Morehead City at the Sanitary Restaurant.  It is a fish house on the pier.  They also have really good hush puppies.  We had good meals and only had soup for dinner at night.
