We have been visiting family since we got here. We drove into Greenville to see Ashley and Nelson at the hospital. He is small but doing well. Everyone just needs to remember he still has 3 months before he is "full grown". The doctors and nurses say he is doing great. I am amazed at the differences between when Nick was a preemie and now. Medicine sure has advanced. After having visited the NICU I am convinced that Nelson is getting the best care possible. Ashley is still having a couple of problems so I would appreciate prayers for her and Nelson; but I know everything will work out just fine.
We have spent some time with Stormy, Bryant, Terri and Donnie. We did spend the 4th at the rig to give them time to themselves. Don't want them to get bored with us too soon. They did have a get-together to celebrate Bill's birthday on Sunday. Bryant smoked a pork shoulder and it was really, really good. I had to be careful not to eat too much.
We are spending the weekend at Moonlight Lake RV park as we can't get into the base until Tuesday. The holiday filled up most places around here. The park isn't a destination spot but is fine for us to park in until Tuesday.
So it has been a quiet family oriented weekend. I hope you had a good Fourth.
