Fridge is fixed!

Friday & Saturday, 5/25 - 5/26/2012

I decided to combine the two days since nothing much happened on either.  Friday we spent the day waiting for the repair guy to show up and fix the refrigerator.  Yeah! I have a refrigerator now!  It has even made ice!  After the fridge was repaired we decided to go out to dinner since it was late in the day.  We looked at going to a local steakhouse called Dakotah Steakhouse, but I checked out the menu online and decided it was wayyyyy to expensive.  We went to The Texas Roadhouse instead.  The food was really good.  I had a nice glass of wine with my steak.  Their rolls were freshly baked and they served a cinnamon honey butter with them.  Bill got a baked sweet potato, his favorite.  The meat was cooked perfectly and the peanuts they give you were a good appetizer.

Saturday morning we got up and loaded everything from the cooler back into the fridge.  We took the cooler back so that is taken care of.  After that we headed over to the commissary to pick up some food we needed but couldn't buy until we had a fridge again.  Let me tell you, living without a fridge is a pain.  I was really worried about my medication not staying cool but we were able to keep it at a good temperature.  When we left the rig we noticed there was something on the picnic table.  The repair guy had left a bunch of wrenches wrapped up and sitting on the seat of the table.  He called us just as I was looking up his number!  We arranged to drop the tools off at a local RV place that he was headed to so that he could pick up some parts.

After we dropped off the tools we headed over to go to the movies.  Men in Black 3 just came out and we wanted to see it.  I enjoyed the film.  We did not see the 3D version.  Those glasses bother me.  I don't think it adds anything to the movie.

Back in the rig we had dinner.  It is really cold and cloudy today.  In fact, the visibility is probably 1/4 mile.  I wouldn't be surprised if it snowed!  We have had rain for the last few days.  Sunday is suppose to be partly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms.  I We are waiting for some sun before we head over to Rushmore, especially for the night ceremony.  Maybe Sunday or Monday.  We head out on Tuesday.

That is all for today.  Have a good one.
