The long, long day

So Terry, tonight we stayed at our 3rd campground in a row that had fishing lakes.  In fact, this one has 3.  We are at Indy Lakes Campground in SW Indianapolis, IN.  We are only staying overnight but do plan on stopping back here on our way to join you in Illinois.  Here are a couple of pics -

They have fishing contests here all the time.  We did see some interesting fishing pole holders. 

We drove 318 miles today.  Neither one of us like traveling that far but it was necessary to get us back on track to get to NC by Wednesday. 

After we got into the campground and hooked up we went out to dinner.  Where did we go?  Why Cracker Barrel, of course.  It was our first time stopping in one since we have been on the road.  I like to shop there and found a top that I liked. 

We stopped for lunch along the way and ran the generator for awhile.  We haven't really used it for any long period of time since we bought it. 

After we got back we walked around the park and met a couple who moved here from Calif.  We enjoyed talking to them for some time.  Then the mosquito's came out and it was time to go inside or go get my spray. 

It rained off and on most of the day.  It had stopped by the time we got to the park but we did have dark clouds overhead.
