Aimee's Baby Shower

Bill drove Mom and me into Orange County so we could attend the baby shower.  We left extra time since we planned on having some traffic.  It turned out to be clear sailing so we got there early.  We decided to stop at the house to use the facilities before we went to the party.  We had hoped that Aimee would have already left for the shower but she was home.  I guess Bill knocked very lightly as Lola didn't even hear us.  We gave her a real surprise! 

We drove her over to the party with us.  We had a really nice time.  We played some games, I won one, had a very nice middle-eastern meal of chicken, rice, cucumber/tomato salad and Naan.  I really enjoyed this meal.  We had cake and watched Aimee open her gifts.  She liked everything she got.  I took some pictures and will post them at the end of the post. 

We were able to fit most of the gifts into the car with the exception of the car seat.  Nick and Aimee will go back and get that on Sunday along with her party dishes. 

It was really nice to see her again.  I am really looking forward to our grandson being born.
