We got up early thing morning planning on pulling out as soon as we could.  I went out to put the trash out and heard a funny noise under the living room slide.  Bill came over and we decided it was kittens meowing!  What!  They were in the area behind the slide and up in a little cubbyhole.  We couldn't see them but we could really hear them.  The ladies at the office came out to help.  Their arms were a little longer and thinner.  They were able to get the 2 kittens out.  Here is where they were.

They are really young, their eyes didn't even seem to be open.  I don't know where they came from or where mommy was.  We have been parked here for 3 nights so it could have been anytime.  They did look like they had been eating, they weren't skinny or anything.  We left them in the care of the office staff.

We got on the road about an hour late but we finally did get going.  Our drive today was 240 miles long and most of it was on side roads, not interstates.  We had trouble finding a place to park for lunch.  There were plenty of parking places before we got hungry and plenty after we got back on the road, but not so many when we were looking!

We are now driving across the "miles and miles of Texas".  You know you are in Texas when you have these on the front of your rig - LOVEBUGS!  We really hate these things.  They are hard to clean off your rig.

We are parked in a Passport America Park in Bryan, Texas, called Primsrose RV.  It is close to College Station where Bush the 1st's Presidential Library is.  We will be visiting there while we are here.  The park is OK, nothing fancy but OK.  The sites are a bit close.  Since we are only using it as a parking place while we visit things in the area it will be fine.  There are a combination of RV's and Mobile Homes here.

Tomorrow we are going site seeing so I will have some pictures then.  Bye for tonight.  I am going to go fix dinner now.

oh my. They look to be about 4 weeks old. If the mother is not found, it is not good to give them cows milk. I hope they find the mother. Otherwise they would need to get special formula from a vet.
