A Cruise to the Caribbean part 3

Our ship was the Carnival Glory.  It recently underwent an upgrade so it was in great shape.  We really enjoyed the shows we saw as well as the comics they had.  Our room was fine but I think if we ever cruise again we will get a room with a window.  It got really, really dark when you turned the lights out and it was hard to tell what time it was because of that.  You didn't know if it was noon or midnight as the room was the same darkness without lights.

We did participate in a murder mystery and did guess who committed the murder and what the weapon was.  You went to a show where they presented the suspects and their alibies.  You had the rest of the week to figure the murder out.  Each suspect could give you an additional clue if you asked for it.  There was also a cryptogram in each of the daily notices.  We did figure out who committed the crime and what the weapon was but our entry didn't get selected for the grand prize but we had fun.

There were 2 formal nights and we really dressed up for the first one but not so much for the second.

We met some very nice people and had a good time.  We would go on another cruise in the future but not for a couple of years.  The flight home was the worst part of the trip was the plane flight home, 5 hours and a boring movie.  We had a bite to eat in the airport before boarding so we didn't have to spend money on the crummy airplane food.

All in all, we had a good time and are glad we went.  Here is the entire collection of photos.  Some were taken with my camera and some with my phone so they are not in the correct order.  I will post the snorkling pictures when I get them.  Remember you can click on the slideshow to go to full screen mode.
