We are stopped at OK RV Park for the night. We will be here tomorrow too. Somehow we got on the road before 8:30 this morning! And we were 't even in a big hurry.
The drive was interesting. It seemed like the AZ highway patrol was really busy. They took over a rest stop (bummer as we planned on stopping there) and they were conducting checks on the big trucks. I don't know if they were checking weights, logs or what but there were a lot of trucks pulled over
We took naps after we got checked in. It is still warm here but I don't think that is going to change soon. Tomorrow we plan on touring the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest. I will pictures then.
I made a good dinner of steak, green beans and Ore Ida Griller potatoes. I really liked those
