Happy Birthday Bill

Today was Bill's 70th birthday.  Funny, he doesn't seem older.  Since we have both gotten "old" we had decided not to do things for our birthdays.  We did go to the movies in the afternoon.  We saw Despicable Me 2 and it was really funny.  We recommend it.  We like to see animated movies.  We didn't see the 3D version.

The campground has a laundry room but it only has 2 washers and 2 dryers.  Since the campground is full it runs non-stop.  I tried to get in during the morning but there was a wait.  I washed all the regular clothes in the rig, so my washer was going non-stop, too!  The pile of laundry had built up since we didn't have 50 amp at the Samboree.  I needed to wash the sheets and towels so will check back in the evening. 

The rest of the day we spent around the rig.  Bill got phone calls from all of his kids, my parents, and some of our friends, wishing him a Happy Birthday.  I let him pick what we would have for dinner and he decided on pork chops.  He also chose beans and applesauce.  A good meal.

After dinner, Bill went for a walk and noticed that the laundry room was empty.  He called and I went up and was finally able to get our laundry finished. Now I have a couple of days before I have to do more.  While up there we found out there isn't anything scheduled on base for the 4th but there was something at the rodeo fairgrounds.  We haven't decided if we are going but we were told we could see the fireworks from a couple of places on base.  We might do that.
