Trying different things
Aug 25 - 27, Sunday-Tuesday
On Sunday we hung around the rig and in the evening decided to go out to dinner. On one of our earlier trips I had noticed a Teppanyaki style restaurant called Kobe Steak and Seafood. The reviews on tripadvisor.com gave it good reviews so that is where we went. It is similar to Bennihana and Bari Bari. The food was good and the cook gave a similar style show. We haven't eaten at a place like this in a long time. I know, go to Montana and eat at a Japanese restaurant! It was funny to watch the other people at the table.
We really haven't done much more except for getting out mail on Tuesday. We had to go through all of it and pay the bills that were included.
People here have been coming and going. Many are returning from Alaska and there are a few of us heading north. We finally made all the decisions as to where we are going after this, at least until we hit Calif in early Oct. We have to decide how long we plan on taking on the drive south. And the direction we are heading. I have made some of our reservations, especially on the bases.
We have been experiencing some rain in the afternoons around here. It is not heavy rain and it isn't lasting long but it is there.
We are just enjoying our days being quiet and cleaning the rig. We are in the last week of our stay. We leave next week, after the holiday.
Take care.
