We are along the Pacific Coast in Oregon but we have spent the last 3 days cooped up in the rig. Why? It has been pouring down rain since late Thursday night. Records are being set with the amount of rain that has been coming down. On top of that the wind is blowing really hard. I heard on the news that there were gusts up to 70 mph! I sent my sister notice that we had horrible weather here but she wanted to come out anyway. We did get to spend some time together talking but my plans of visiting some of the cute little towns fell through because of the rain. We did go out to dinner on Saturday night into Seaside, OR and ate at Dooger's Seafood. I really enjoyed my meal of sole. On Friday afternoon Bill and I braved the rain to check out the Costco in town as well as picking up a couple of things at Fred Meyers. Other than that we have not done anything. Oregon is not making a good impression. We have made a change of our route and we are moving inland on Monday, instead of coming down the coast. Hopefully the weather will be better.
In the morning I was able to go outside and take a couple of pics of the campground.
