Seattle Weather

Sept 15 - 18, 2013  Sunday - Wednesday

It hasn't been exciting here as we are enjoying (ha ha) typical Seattle weather.  It has rained almost every day we have been here.  On Thursday, when we arrived, it was nice and warm.  Since then it has been cool, overcast, and wet.  One thing about the campground having so many trees, it keeps raining even after it has stopped.  The trees drip for hours after a rain.  We did get some sunshine for about 30 minutes on Saturday.  First sun we had seen in days.

We did get our mail one day and were surprised that there were no bills or things I had to call about.  I also got my blood work done, again.  I have an infection the last time I had it done (in Great Falls, MT) and it messed with the results.  I told my doctor I would have them redone when we got here.

On Monday we drove into Seattle to the Pike Place Market.  This is a huge farmers market.  They have veggies, fruits, flowers, fish, bakeries and crafts.  We really enjoyed it.  I don't think I would like to go on a weekend though.  It was really crowded on Monday so I can imagine what the weekend is like.  I picked up some fruit and veggies, fish and fresh bread.

I did get to watch Dancing With The Stars on Monday.  I am glad that it has started again.  Next week starts most of the shows for the new season.

Today we will pick up some perishables at the commissary and then clean up in the rig in preparation for leaving tomorrow.  We are heading out to Port Angeles, WA and head over to Victoria Island and start our visit to Olympic National Park and the rainforests.

So that has been the last few days.  Hope you are having a good time.

Did you see them throwing the fish? That is part of the 'show' at Pikes.
I hope you enjoy Olympic National Park and the Hoh rainforest in there.
