Update

Oct 14 - 21, 2013

We have arrived in Hemet, CA and are staying with my parents so we can get some things done.  My car has been to the shop but it is still making noise so it went back on Monday morning.  The guys have been out and measured the slide topper awning so that is on order.  When we got here I tried to turn the fridge back on but it wouldn't turn on.  Turns out that the recall box on the back had tripped and won't reset, so a new one of those is also on order.  Good thing I can put stuff in my parent's fridges.  Our next thing is tires and we have an appointment on Tuesday to get those.  They had to be ordered.  We had planned on replacing them a few months from now but noticed that one of the rear tires had a gouge in the sidewall.  It was not all the way through to the belts but we feel safer replacing them now. 

We saw the kids a couple of times.  Rory is sure getting big.  I expect him to be walking any day now.  He was a little shy when we first got there but he warmed up to us.  Lola went nuts, of course, and we enjoyed seeing her.  Both kids are doing fine. 

We will move to Seal Beach for the winter on the 3rd of Nov, after our club campout.  We are looking forward to that.  We have made arrangements with Aimee for us to come over at least once a week so that she will have time to do things she wants to do.  Rory will soon be 1 so his birthday party is being planned.  That will be fun.
