We are now in Chula Vista, CA at the San Diego Metro KOA, camping with our friends. There isn't going to be any Halloween things tonight as there are not a lot of people in the park. We only saw 2 kids yesterday.
You could tell it was a family night as there was hardly anyone at the restaurant we went to for dinner. But there certainly were a lot out on the streets. I got some pictures of Rory from Nick and Aimee. Last year we got him is outfit to wear for his 1st Halloween and I think he looks really, really cute in it. We couldn't find a cover (hat) for it.
Who knows, maybe some day he will have a real outfit like that.
Last weekend we went with the kids to a pumpkin patch. Rory certainly had fun there. He doesn't particularly like the feel of straw.
I am really happy that we are spending the winter in Orange County so we will get to see him more. Oh, and see Nick and Aimee more too. We move to Seal Beach this Sunday.
Things have been quiet. We did get the awning topper replaced and the recall box for the refrigerator finally got here. After all the money spent on the tires we will not be getting anything else for a bit.
I copied a picture of our great-grandson off his mother's facebook page. He was cute in his outfit too.
