This morning Bill and I decided to go to downtown Seal Beach and have breakfast. We had a nice breakfast at the Old Town Café and then decided to walk over to the pier. The sun was out and it was a really nice day. The temps were in the high 70's and the water was blue. The stores downtown are cute and there are a number of restaurants. We will be returning for lunches and dinners soon.
The pier was nice and there were surfers on the water. Note that they are wearing wet suits. The water temp was around 60 degrees.
We also found a local celebrity in the water - The Seal Beach Seal!
We had a very nice walk along the pier and through downtown. You might note some brown in the air. I think it is from the fire in the local hills.
