Still in Orange County

Our life here has been busy.  We have been babysitting whenever possible and love it.  It takes both of us, one to play with Rory and one to play with Lola!  I have babysat by myself a few times and I am tired at the end of the day.  What a workout!

My mother's 80th birthday was in December and we had a surprise party for her in January!  That was when we could get everyone together.  Here are the pictures I took.  I haven't had a chance to edit them but they are not bad. 



February was not a good month.  We had a number of friends and their families pass away so we went to a few memorials for them.

March, so far, has been better and we have done some fun things.  We went with some friends to see Reba McIntyre at one of the Indian Casinos in the area.  Our seats weren't great but they weren't bad.  The soundboard was in front of us so it made viewing the stage a little difficult for some of us.  I could see pretty good.  It was a great concert and we did enjoy it.  They didn't allow cameras so I don't have any pictures.  Bummer.

A friend had a medical emergency and some of the guys have taken over his business for a bit.  He had to have a heart valve replaced and runs his own vending business so the guys have been trying to keep it running.  Bill has been working 2-3 days a week when he can.  He says the work isn't hard, just time consuming. 

We have been camping with our friends the first weekend of every month and we have taken Lola with us a couple of times.  I think she enjoyed it but it did remind us why we don't have a pet.

We are planning on leaving the first part of June so my posts are still going to be infrequent.
