We only had about 145 miles to go today so we were not in a big hurry. Bill and I took a walk up to town and had breakfast out. It was good. Back at camp the others started packing up. We got back before anyone left and we all said goodbye. We won't see these guys until we return in Nov.
Our drive was uneventful. The scenery doesn't change much when driving through the desert. We stopped for the night at the county fairgrounds in Fallon, NV. We have never stopped here before. Normally, we stop at the Naval Base in town but since we are only here for one night we took the cheaper and easier to get into option. When we arrived we were the only ones here. By nightfall there were two other rigs with us. Here are a few pictures I took -
We ate in and rested for the rest of the day. Tomorrow morning we take off again and head east. Have a good day |
