Rain, rain go away

Saturday, July 5, 2014 I woke up around 2:00 AM to the sound of thunder. Oh joy, it is raining again. I think I am going to grow webbed feet. Just when everything was going good with the weather. I also heard our next door neighbors pull out around 5:30 AM. The kept slamming their truck doors. Thanks a bunch for waking we up! I wonder how far south we will have to go to get out of the rain track. I had planned on going into town to get a haircut this morning but will probably wait until later to see if the rain lets up a bit. The rain finally let up a bit around 1:00 so we headed over to get my hair cut and to pick up a couple of things at Walmart. Now I don't feel like a shaggy dog anymore. The rest of the day was hot and muggy. The campground has standing water all over the place. It will take a couple of days for it to seep into the ground. Hopefully we won't have much more rain in the next few days. We didn't do anything else all day. I didn't even make dinner. We just kinda nibbled.
