I thought I posted

Thursday - Saturday, Sept 18-20, 2014

I looked at the blog and realized that I hadn't posted since Wednesday.  I swear I thought I posted on Thursday!  Anyway, we didn't do much on Thursday.  We did go into Intercourse for a bit and I picked up a few things I had been eyeing.  That was about all we did except to clean a bit inside in preparation for leaving on Friday.

Friday was moving day.  We were not in a hurry as we only had about 50 miles to go.  We couldn't get into the campground too early but planned on getting there around noon.  That meant a late checkout at Roamers Retreat.  We took our time and left there after 11:00.  We had three different options for getting here.  The GPS didn't like part of our route but we went that way anyway.  It was small roads and tight corners but we made it to Twin Grove Campground in Pine Grove, PA.  This used to be a KOA and we have camped here before.  We picked a part of the park that we remembered being pretty level.  Oops.  It must have been just that one spot.  The spot we were assigned certainly wasn't level.  We moved inside the spot a number of times but just couldn't get level.  The front was coming way too far off the ground.  I went to an office and we tried another spot.  It took a couple of moves but we finally did get level.  The front passengers side is still pretty far up and there a now a large step to get on the first step.

Saturday we did a little laundry in the morning and then drove to Tamaqua to visit Bill's Uncle Bobby and Aunt Ruth.  We really like them and many people think Bobby is Bill's Dad as they look a lot alike.  We spent the afternoon with them catching up.

On our way home we stopped at the Manheim Diner for dinner.  It was new the last time we were here so we decided to try it out.  The food was good diner style.

So that should catch us up for a bit.  We are expecting Sue, Bill's sister, to come out tomorrow for a visit.
