We are currently in Albuquerque, NM at Kirtland AFB for 2 nights.  The park is fine and I will take pictures.

Once we set up we drove over to the PX to check out the Kindle Fire.  They had 4 new ones in stock and the price was $99.  To check things out we drove over to Best Buy.  They had it at the same price but I would have to pay sales tax.  So when we got back on base I bought it!  Spent some time getting it setup.  Nice to be able to read again.  So far I am happy with it.


Bill was looking for blades for his electric razor but the base didn't have them, neither did Best Buy.  We checked out Target and Walmart too.  Walmart had some new razors for only a few dollars more than the replacement blades so we will be going back on Saturday and buy him a new razor.  Planned obsolescence.

I wanted to try something new for dinner so I made an enchilada casserole.  It was pretty good but we have a lot of leftovers.  They will work for dinner on one of our traveling days.

My computer battery has died so I always have to have it plugged in.  Now I have to find a replacement for that.

It is warm here and I assume we have left cold weather behind us for now.  Time to get the shorts out again.
