A short drive of about 140 miles and we arrived at Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow. The Famcamp here is first come first serve. You can see it from I40 when heading west. There were plenty of sites so we got hooked up. The weather here is definitely warm. Had to use the air conditioner. There isn't much to do here an dance it is in the desert it is all rock.
We did drive into town and found the Walmart. We also found a gas station with diesel and wash in and out. We will stop in the morning to fill up.
The satellite dish didn't work at all today. Not even later in the evening. Oh well
I took a couple if pictures but will have to post them later.
