Made it back to California

Another longer drive of 250 miles today.  We just made it over the border into California.  It always seems that the closer we get to CA the faster we go.

We are spending the night in Needles, CA at Fender's River Resort.  It is a Passport America park and is only $14 a night.  That is for the upper sites, not the river front sites.  Hey, we can walk to the river.  The park only has 30 amp hookups but we can live with that.  We would come back to this park.

Our satellite dish is acting up again.  When you turn it on it doesn't recognize the satellite.  We checked all the wires and connections but it still doesn't work.  Bill set up the outside dish.  That took a while to do as we haven't used it in almost a year.  Good thing I have written instructions.  We have an appointment with a service place on Monday to have some things done and will have them look at it then.

We had lunch at Denny's at the Flying J when we stopped for fuel.  That means we won't have dinner tonight.  Maybe just a small sandwich.
