So our plans for the first half of the trip are finally made. I have gotten us to North Carolina. Eventually I will work on the return trip. I know we are planning on being in Albuquerque, NM for the balloon festival in early October but nothing in between. Here are the plans after we leave our friends in New Orleans.

Orlando, FL - 5 nights (staying at Fort Wilderness - Walt Disney World)
Ft Myers Beach, FL - 3 nights
Homestead, FL - 3 nights (Coral Castle, Everglades)
Key West, FL - 3 nights
Homestead, FL - 3 nights (Coral reef, Key Largo)
Cocoa Beach, FL - 5 nights (Cape Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center)
Jacksonville, FL - 3 nights
Tifton, GA - overnight
Macon, GA - 7 nights (day trip into Atlanta for Carter Lib)
Augusta, GA - 2 nights
Florence, SC - overnight
New Bern, NC - 14 nights
That should take us until the 27th of July. Then we will head back west to hit Albuquerque in the end of Sept and stay there until about the 6th of Oct. Then head back to CA.
The time has gone so fast and I am really sorry to be leaving the family. We really enjoy babysitting Rory and Lola and will miss them terribly. Good thing we have Skye and Facetime. Hopefully, Rory will be able to travel with us soon. He is growing so fast.
We did upset him last month when we took Lola camping with us. He really missed having her around the house for those 5 days. When we brought her back he was more interested in hugging her than hugging us!
Two more weeks and we will be heading out. We will head to San Diego to camp with our groups and head east from there. Wish us good travels!
