San Antonio
The rain was pouring down this morning. We decided to wait and see if it would let up around 11:00. It did let up a bit so we decided to drive to Bass Pro Shops for the guys to have some shopping fun. The girls also picked up a few things. After wandering the store for a couple of hours we finally finished shopping. By this time we were a little hungry but didn't want to eat a bit meal. There was a fish restaurant next door so we decided to have a bite to eat. Many of the group had clam chowder. I had a BBQ pork sandwich and shared that with Bill. By this time the rain had pretty much stopped.
We returned to the rigs to let the dogs out. After that the other 4 went to the Alamo. Bill and I have been there many, many times so decided not to go. My joints were a little sore because of the weather and we just wanted to rest. They all had fun.
I fixed dinner tonight. We had pork roast, scalloped potatoes and green beans/wax beans/carrots for veggies. For dessert we had rice pudding and tapioca pudding. A nice simple meal.
