San Antonio, TX day 2

It rained last night but not much.  We had decided to be ready to go at 10:00 AM.  We tried to decide between the Alamo and SAS shoes.  Since the tour we wanted to do at SAS shoes does not run on Friday's we decided to do that today.  They don't allow pictures during the tour so I don't have any.
We got there a bit early and shopped.  Bad idea.  I bought a pair of tennis shoes.  They others bought shoes too.  The tour was informational.  Bill and I had done the tour before but this was a first for the rest of the group.  After the tour we headed back to the RV's to let the dogs out.

Rick and Janie have been waiting for a part to be delivered for their water heater.  The FedEx guys was suppose to deliver it to the office but he didn't.  They had to call and get it rerouted so they could fix their water heater.  After the part finally arrived the guys installed it and they are happy now.

After dinner, which Janie cooked, we took a run to Walmart.  We are learning the different ways around the base but still seem to pick the longest route.  Soon it was back home for the night.

This morning Bill got a call from his cousin in PA.   His Uncle Bobby passed away yesterday morning.  He has been sick for a couple of years so it wasn't unexpected but it is so sad.  Bobby was Bill's favorite, and last, Uncle.  They resemble each other.  We won't be able to make it to PA for the services but have let the family know how sad we are.
