Pensacola, Day 5

Thursday, 6/04/2015
Pensacola, FL

We spent most of the morning doing stuff like laundry and cleaning up inside the rig.  Everything is now ready to go for tomorrow.

After lunch we headed over to the base to tour the Pensacola Lighthouse.

As with many lighthouses around the country it is no longer used and fell into a mess.  The locals created a group to save it when it was going to be torn down.  They now run a museum there.  You can climb the 177 steps to the top if you want.  We didn't.

After the lighthouse we drove across the street to the Naval Aviation Museum.  We wanted to check it out without thousands of people there.  We also wanted to see the other buildings.  We had a good time walking around.  We stopped at the cafe for ice cream and it started raining.  Luckily it stopped before we left.

On our way home we stopped at Walmart to check on my prescription.  They didn't have enough on had to fill all 90 days but they did give me 30 days.  I can get the rest at another store.

We decided we didn't want a big dinner so we split a turkey/bacon/ranch sandwich from Arby's.  A nice light dinner.

Bill talked to Freightliner again and confirmed that there isn't anything we can do about the odometer.  He did get instructions on looking the mileage up on the computer.  I have to call the warranty company and see what we have to do with them.  I am not looking forward to that.

So that is the last of our time here.  Now we head toward Walt Disney World.  Enjoy the pictures
